Last year, I went on a trip with the company I work for to Miller Brothers Giant Tire Service in Brooksville. My job was to shoot photographs of our products being used on the Earthmover and Mining vehicles located there. What really caught my eye on this trip, though, was the 1967 Pontiac GTO seemingly forgotten in the corner of the service site parking lot.
After some questioning, I discovered that one of the employees owned the car and was nice enough to unlock it for me so I could get some shots of the inside as well. I love these photos, the age evident on the car really adds to its beauty. I've always had a fascination with abandoned buildings, vehicles, and decrepit structures - they tell stories that are often overlooked.
I also submitted one of the photographs in this series to the 2017 Planes, Trains & Automobiles Exhibition at 1650 Gallery in Los Angeles, California!  It was exciting to have been given the opportunity to exhibit my work in a gallery for the first time. My photo was even awarded Best of Show, which is a really meaningful accomplishment for me and I am extremely thankful to both 1650 Gallery and everyone who has supported me and my work over the past few years!
